RCFE Administrator Certification Program
Assisted Care Institute’s RCFE administrator certification program, the 80-Hour Initial Administrator Certification Training Program, gives you everything you need to prepare for the California RCFE Administrator Certification Exam. The course is CDSS-approved (Vendor # 2000761-740-1) and structured to fit the schedule of working professionals.
Course Structure
The 80-hour program is split into two components:
20 hours of self-paced online training. Complete the foundational modules on your own time. Topics include California Title 22 regulations, facility operations, and community resources for elderly residents.
60 hours of live Zoom instruction. Weekend sessions led by experienced instructors. Interactive discussions, simulations, and guided exam review keep participants engaged and prepared.
What You'll Learn
The curriculum covers every area required for the California RCFE Administrator Certification Exam, including how to operate a residential care facility within state regulations, medication management protocols, resident admission and assessment procedures, staffing and supervision requirements, fire safety compliance, residents’ rights advocacy, and cultural competency, including sensitivity to aging LGBTQ+ populations.
